Our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi launched POSHAN Abhiyan, which is also known as National Nutrition Mission. It is Government flagship program to improve nutritional outcomes for Children. As a part of celebrating POSHAN MAAH, teachers. of Mount Carmel school conducted a short webinar and Shared a musical Power Point Presentation .In this presentation Teacher's highlighted the importance and role of right nutrition for human body, also how balanced diet with a combination of essential nutrients and calories is pivotal for the smooth working and growth of human body. Various activities and competitions related to nutrition awareness were carried out in this month. Children from different classes created beautiful art- form with the help of food materials such as dry fruits, fruits and vegetables only. This celebration and activities spread the message of holistic nutrition throughout the month to ensure a healthier future for women & Children. Children were also motivated to plant saplings and to grow them at home.
